Production Technician

Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Production Tech to manage a combination of mechanical troubleshooting and day-to-day shop operations. This role requires the disassembly, cleaning, repair, and assembly of electronic, mechanical, and electro-mechanical parts. The position integrates technical repair capabilities with production support functions, requiring high accuracy, precision, and adherence to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Equivalent 2 years of work experience in mechanical repair and assembly, or experience in the automotive or similar repair industry.
Authorized to work in the United States and able to lift up to 75 pounds.
Exceptional mechanical aptitude with advanced mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Highly competent in using common hand tools as well as larger shop equipment, including a drill press, lathe, media blaster, mill, and hydraulic press.
Competent in utilizing a multi-meter for electrical diagnostics.
Able to accurately read and interpret drawings, test procedures, test setups, specifications, and technical manuals in English.
Experience operating within a quality management system, such as ISO9001.
Practical mathematical skills and the ability to operate a Windows-based PC and basic software programs.
Self-starter capable of learning quickly, managing multiple priorities, and transitioning smoothly between distinct projects.
Highly organized, precise, and accurate in all shop environment tasks.
Reliable team player, capable of working independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
Desired Skills
Soldering and de-soldering proficiency.
Forklift operation experience.
Hands-on experience building, repairing, or fabricating projects as a hobby, such as cars, motorcycles, electric vehicles, or drones.
Qualifications
Apply
Test, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electro-mechanical parts such as electric motors, rectifier modules, battery charging units, and load regulators.
Disassemble, clean, and wash electronic, mechanical, and electromechanical components.
Perform broken screw and bolt extraction, and repair damaged threads using a tap and die.
Assist with building test fixtures, which includes soldering, wiring, and basic metal fabrication.
Perform final testing and quality assurance procedures before moving products to the shipping area.
Accurately fill out and maintain equipment log sheets.
Assist with receiving shipments, packing items for outbound shipping, and storing items in proper warehouse locations.
Maintain proper inventory levels of components needed to complete assigned repairs.
Meet or exceed production goals and deadlines, and perform other duties as assigned.
